Toronto, ON (October 23, 2025)
Datatel Inc./Datatel Communications Inc. is proud to announce that its Co-CEO, Barnard Crespi, will participate once again in the 2025 Covenant House Toronto Executive Sleep Out on November 20, 2025, joining business and community leaders in sleeping outdoors for one night to raise awareness and critical funds for homeless youth and survivors of sex trafficking.
Covenant House Toronto is the largest agency in Canada serving youth who are homeless, trafficked, or at risk. Each year, the organization provides housing and support services to more than 2194 young people, helping them build stable, independent futures.
The Covenant House Toronto Executive Sleep Out unites executives across industries in a powerful act of solidarity — spending a night on the streets of Toronto to experience, in a small way, what thousands of young people face every day. Funds raised through the initiative provide shelter, safety, and a path forward for youth experiencing homelessness and exploitation.
“Each year, this experience is a reminder of how easily circumstances can change someone’s life,” said Barnard Crespi, Co-CEO of Datatel. “It’s not just about one night outside it’s about standing up for young people who deserve opportunity, dignity, and hope. The work Covenant House Toronto does is vital, and we’re proud to stand with them again this year.”
The Datatel team is also rallying behind Crespi’s participation, raising funds and spreading awareness about the realities facing homeless and trafficked youth in Canada. Through its Businesses GiveBack initiative, Datatel continues to encourage other organizations to engage in meaningful acts of corporate citizenship that go beyond donations, including focusing on community impact, education, and advocacy.
